Ingredients

 olive oil
 ½ red cabbage
 2 tsp dried parsley
 ½ tsp white wine vinegar
 2 tbsp garlic aioli
 ½ tsp honey
 2 tbsp plain flour
 1 egg
 1 cup panko breadcrumbs
 1 tbsp sesame seeds
 4 pork schnitzel
 1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
 1 tsp water

Method

Finely slice the red cabbage.

Combine the white wine vinegar, garlic aioli and honey in a small bowl. Season with salt and pepper. Set aside.

Place the plain flour in a shallow bowl. Place the egg in a second bowl and lightly whisk. Place the panko breadcrumbs, sesame seeds and parsley in a third bowl. Crumb the schnitzel through each bowl.

Cook the schnitzel over a medium heat for 2-3 minutes on each side. Set aside on a plate lined with paper towel.

Return the pan to the heat and add the red cabbage and cook for 3-4 minutes or until tender. To the pan, add balsamic vinegar and water. Cook for a further 1 minute.
